The Vanderburgh County Commissioners passed a ban on open burning for all unincorporated areas of the county tonight.

Mesa County bans open burning

Citing extreme fire danger, Mesa County Sheriff Stan Hilkey imposed a ban on open burning that takes effect today. The ban covers the unincorporated areas of Mesa County and the incorporated areas of the city of Grand Junction.
