(ARA) - Summer is here and so is grilling season. Before firing up the grills, however, weekend warriors should observe a few simple precautions to ensure that backyard barbecue bashes don't go up in flames.

STAMFORD -- Visitors may soon be allowed to bring grills to city parks, if a proposed rule revision passes city boards. Stamford parkgoers have long complained about the limited number of grills in park picnic areas, and argued that rules against personal grills are arbitrarily enforced.
